Our family includes Laura Mathilde 9 years, Markus Sander 7 years, Kenneth 33 years, Helle 38 years old and our four lovely British Shorthair cats.
We have chosen to have four adult cats in our breed, because we want our cats to be a part of our family. The British Shorthair is a very social cat and needs a lot of contact and when we have kittens it can be difficult to give each cat the right amount of contact.
We got our first British Shorthair 8 years ago – her name is La Chatte Giselle and she is very beautiful cat, with a good expression and a nice temper. Our children has been raised with her and they have learned to respect her and take care of her right from the start. It was very important for us to get a cat, that was gentle and social and that was indeed what we got.
In the summer of 2005 it finally happened – she got pregnant. And we got three female and one male kitten. That was a big experience for both our children and us. Our kittens were very social thanks to our children – they play a lot with the kittens and the kittens get used to the noice of children.
